Zeven nieuwe linkbuilding tips
Linkbuilding wordt steeds minder belangrijk in zoekmachineoptimalisatie, maar nog steeds is het een onderdeel van 1 van de 200 Google factoren. Eerder dit jaar heb ik basis linkbuilding tips gegeven, deze zullen bij alle online marketeers wel bekend zijn. Belangrijkste is goede content, doe mee aan gastbloggen en plaats interne links.
Nieuwe linkbuilding tips
Op internet zijn veel linkbuilding tips te vinden, sommige vind ik daadwerkelijk nuttig, vandaar hier mijn tips.
- Maak gebruik van de mentions op andere websites. Mentions zijn berichten op andere websites waarin gerefereerd wordt naar jouw artikel. Dit kan een quote zijn of een product/dienst die op jouw site aangeboden wordt. Controleer je eigen product door te zoeken via Google of door een Google Alert in te stellen. Een Google Alert stuurt per mail een overzicht waar jouw naam genoemd wordt, deze is in te stellen via Google Alerts. Wanneer je een website tegenkomt waar nog geen link naar jou gemaakt is, kan je contact opnemen met de webbouwer om alsnog hier een link te krijgen. Dit kan ook via de Fresh Web Explorer van MOZ.
- Lees er niet over, ga ermee aan de slag. Dit is eigenlijk een zelfde tip als “schrijf goede content”. Door je tijd meteen te steken in linkbuilding ipv erover te lezen, werk je meteen aan betere links en leer je er ook over.
- Comment marketing, werkt
ook nog steeds goed. Maak gebruik van de mogelijkheid om te reageren op artikelen uit dezelfde branche. Op deze manier is het mogelijk voor zoekmachines om links te maken die over hetzelfde onderwerp gaan. Dit is in de toekomst van belang wanneer er meer gebruik gemaakt wordt van Linked Open Data (LOD).
- Gebruik de juiste anchor teksten. Maak op de juiste woorden de link, dit geldt ook voor interne links. Wanneer ik iets over Adwords examens schrijf, link ik natuurlijk ook met die woorden naar het artikel.
- Gebruik social media. Maak gebruik van alle social media die je zelf daadwerkelijk gebruikt als bedrijf. Wanneer je nooit Twittert, is het toch goed om zo nu en dan een Tweet te plaatsen die iets toevoegt in je branche. Maak dan ook gebruik van juiste hashtags om je tweet in bepaalde categorieën te krijgen.
- Probeer links te krijgen waar bezoekers daadwerkelijk op klikken. Zorg dat je link bovenaan een pagina geplaatst wordt of in een artikel dat daadwerkelijk gelezen wordt. Ook hiermee kan goed gebruik worden gemaakt van social media, aangezien een link in social media tijdelijk hoog op een pagina komt en waar bezoekers makkelijk klikken op dergelijke links.
- Werk oude teksten bij! Update oude teksten die al gelinkt worden, op deze manier blijf je up-to-date en zorg je dat huidige links interessant blijven. Als voorbeeld mijn artikel over de 200 factoren van Google die ik afgelopen week heb bijgewerkt. Door dit artikel om de zoveel tijd te toetsen en bij te werken, blijft het voor anderen interessant om dit te blijven lezen. Oude links blijven in dit geval altijd up-to-date.
Bonus: outdated informatie bijwerken op je eigen site EN anderen!
Zorg dat niet alleen je eigen informatie up-to-date is, maar ook die van collega’s! Wanneer je gebruik van “outdated content finder” maakt, kan je zien welke pagina’s op je eigen website aangepast dienen te worden of bij collega’s. Door contact op te nemen met collega’s kan je aanvullingen geven op een artikel en belonen ze wellicht met een link naar jouw website. Op deze manier werk je ook op een goede manier aan linkbuilding.
